The Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative's annual meeting draws thousands of Cooperative members to Pickens for a good time that includes music, food, a free door prize for each registered member, and a chance to win valuable prizes, including a pick-up truck.

Blue Ridge Fest, a charity fundraiser of Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative, each spring brings hundreds of classic cars to the Upstate's largest classic car cruise-in, oldies music by top artists, food and non-alcoholic beverages, a chance to win large cash prizes, and a good time for the thousands of fest-goers. Since its inception two decades ago, Blue Ridge Fest, through sponsors and ticket sales, has raised more than $2 million in net proceeds that has been given to local charitable organizations.

The Pickens County Airport in Liberty was the setting for the 8th annual Wings & Wheels event, a fundraiser for Pickens County Meals on Wheels, on Saturday, April 22, 2017. Airplane rides and classic cars were part of the fun.
