Blue Ridge Fest

                                   Blue Ridge Fest

Blue Ridge Fest, a charity fundraiser of Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative, each spring brings hundreds of classic cars to the Upstate's largest classic car cruise-in, oldies music by top artists, food and non-alcoholic beverages, a chance to win large cash prizes, and a good time for thousands of fest-goers. Since its inception two decades ago, Blue Ridge Fest, through sponsors and ticket sales, has raised more than $2 million in net proceeds given to local charitable organizations.

At the 2018 Blue Ridge Fest, Charles Dalton, President and CEO of Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative from 1982 until his retirement, was presented the Blue Ridge Fest Founder's Award from new President and CEO Jim Lovinggood and Governor Henry McMaster. The charity fundraiser raised a record $225,000 for local charities. The fun included the Upstate's largest classic car cruise-in and oldies music by The Spinners, Jim Quick and the Coastline, and Magic.  Click here to read The Christian View magazine's article and to view The Christian View magazine's 125 photos from the 2018 Blue Ridge Fest.
