Marines from the Special Operations Command, based at Camp LeJuene, and wives of the Marines who are married, were welcomed to Southern Wesleyan University for the 2018 Honoring Their Service Ride. Following the opening ceremony at the Gilbert Track and Field Complex, the Marines and spouses, driven in Jeeps provided by Upstate Legends Jeep Club, were escorted by police and veteran motorcyclists, including from the Christian Motorcyclists Association, and members of the Marine Corps League of Pickens County, as they made their way to their destination for some much deserved rest and relaxation at Lake Keowee.
