Thank you to the business sponsors who have partnered with The Christian View magazine in supporting this mission of Christian journalism and making it possible for this ministry to share good news from the community and the good news of the Gospel and to offer free advertising as well as publicity through articles and photographs for charitable, civic, service, and veterans organizations.

Sharing good news through Christ-centered journalism since 2004, The Christian View magazine is locally owned and operated in Pickens County, South Carolina by journalist and Easley native Karen Brewer, who left her job as the Editor of The Pickens Sentinel in order to devote full time to Christian journalism. She holds a Master's degree in English (Literature) from Clemson University and a Bachelor's degree in the Liberal Arts, with a major in English (Literature) and a minor in Journalism, from Clemson University.

More than 1,700 citizens have been featured in the pages of The Christian View magazine through one-on-one interviews and in-depth articles as well as coverage of many local events throughout Pickens County. From the beginning, this publication has offered free publicity, through numerous articles, to assist non-profit charitable, civic, service, and veterans organizations in their mission, and this publication has shared life stories of many citizens from all walks of life who share their Christian faith.

Brewer chose Hiott Printing Company of Pickens to print The Christian View, and thousands of copies of each issue of the publication were distributed free in churches and businesses across Pickens County and in other parts of the Upstate of South Carolina. The Christian View transformed into a free digital magazine, reaching readers in Pickens County and throughout South Carolina, as well as in all 50 states and in 173 countries around the world.

The magazine now accepts subscriptions and, through the partnership between The Christian View magazine and its sponsors and subscribers, this publication will continue serving the community and beyond through the work and ministry of Christian journalism.

Although The Christian View magazine is now primarily an online publication, special issues are still occasionally printed and distributed free.

A special Sesquicentennial Issue of The Christian View magazine was printed in 2018 to celebrate Pickens County's 150th anniversary and to share citizens' memories of Pickens County's Centennial Celebration from 1968. (A copy of this issue was placed in Pickens County's time capsule buried at the Pickens County Courthouse in December of 2018, to be opened in 2068.) To complement this special edition, more than 1,200 color photographs of Sesquicentennial events were published in The Christian View magazine online. This special printed issue and the additional 1,200 photos of Sesquicentennial events may be viewed online by clicking on the link above.

A special issue honoring veterans was printed in 2019. This special 44-page print issue marked the first time that an issue was printed in full color, and the size changed from large format to the usual magazine size, and the magazine was printed for the first time by Lighthouse Printing, founded by Karen Brewer. This special issue may be viewed online by clicking on the link above.
